This award was established in 2002 to recognize a member of the AAST for an original published article.
Description
This award honors and recognizes an AAST member for an original written work that represents excellence in technical literary writing by a sleep technologist.
Eligibility
All current AAST members.
Criteria
A member nominated for this award has written an original article, paper, industry blog, textbook or textbook chapter in the past one year:
- An original article for publication in A2Zzz;
- An original article for publication in a scientific journal;
- An original article for publication in a profession-related textbook or workbook;
- An original article for publication in an industry publication.
- An original AAST blog or other industry blog.
Please provide detailed information to support the nomination:

- Why does the nominee deserve to receive the Literary Award?
- What impact has the nominee’s accomplishment had on the profession?
