Summary:
Sleep and public health go hand in hand! Good sleep contributes to better health outcomes, improved productivity and improved economics, whereas poor sleep or sleep deprivation from any cause, can be responsible for increased workplace and traffic accidents, increased healthcare spending and overall poorer health. This talk will discuss the foundations of sleep and public health and then explore some sleep critical roles such as pilots, military and commercial drivers. In addition, we will explore ways to engage your local community and businesses to improve sleep awareness. Register now for this upcoming webinar.
