AAST Fellow Program

The AAST Fellow Program recognizes those who have made significant and sustained contributions to the field of Sleep Technology and AAST. Please read below for additional information regarding the nomination requirements and process.

This Fellow title will be offered on an invitation only, non-emolument basis to individuals who are highly regarded in the sleep technology field and who possess attributes that align with the AAST’s mission, vision and values. The purpose of these such Fellow positions is to establish a recognized, collaborative partnership between the AAST and each fellow that leverages mutual strengths. These appointments provide a platform to advance the profession, promote and the AAST, and encourage innovative contributions that have a meaningful impact on the field.

Since the distinction of AAST Honorary Fellow is not intended as a memorial award, a nomination submitted posthumously shall not be considered by the selection committee unless the nominee is living at the time of the submission deadline date.

Fellow Member Expectations

AAST Fellow members will be expected to maintain their credentials and continue their professional development.

AAST Fellow members will have the honor to identify themselves with “FAAST” distinction after their names.
