Please log in to the Learning Center using your existing AAST member or guest account—even if it’s been a few years. If you’re unsure of your login details, reset your password or contact us for assistance. There’s no need to create a new account. - Set Your Preferences
Set your preferences on your profile page to find content perfect for your interests and needs. By indicating your level of interest in each interest category, you will find exactly what you need in real time. The settings are as follows: 0 = low level of interest and 5 = high level of interest. - Search for Education

Account Login Help
- Log in at the top right-hand side of the page and enter the email address and password associated with your AAST account
- If you do not have an AAST account, click the “Sign Up” link to create one.

What is "My Dashboard”?
The dashboard houses all your records for any education which you take. View and complete your purchased courses, or free CECs, in your “My Dashboard”.
Finding Transcripts and CEC Certificates
Access “My CEC Transcript“ to print out certificates and transcripts for easy record keeping of your Continuing Education hours.

When does my access begin?
Your access begins when your membership purchase is completed. Most Learning Center products are available for 30 days after the date of purchase.
Can I view an AAST Learning Center module more than once?
Yes, you may view the learning module as many times as you want until the end of your access period. Once your purchase has expired, you will no longer be able to view the module or complete the CEC post-test. You will always be able to see which modules you have completed, and a record of your CECs will be stored in your CEC Transcript
What exactly is an access period? When will my learning module expire?
Access periods work like rentals. Once you complete your purchase, you will have at least 30 days to view the module or practice test (number of days depends on type and length of program), and to complete the CEC post-test, if applicable. You can find the access period length in the course descriptions.
How can I earn CEC credit for my purchased learning module?
Most Online Learning modules contain a post-test for CEC credit. Once you watch the presentation, you will automatically be taken to the post-test. You have as many attempts as you need to pass the CEC post-test with a score of 70 percent or more. Once you have passed the post-test, your credits and certificates will be available in your CEC Transcript. NOTE: You may only claim CEC credit once per learning module, and may not claim online CEC credit for a course you also attended in-person.
Where can I purchase learning modules to view in the AAST Learning Center?
AAST Learning Modules are available for purchase in the Learning Center. To access the Learning Center, log in to www.aastweb.org, then choose Learning Center from the top navigation, and click the Access button at the bottom of the page. You will be directed to your learning dashboard, which will include all of your accessible modules, as well as the Learning Center catalog. Choose a module from the catalog to see a course description, number of CECs available, and additional information.
Can I obtain a certificate for passing a CEC post-test?
Yes. Once you pass a CEC post-test you may print or download a CEC certificate to demonstrate your training. Note, due to the transition please allow 48-hours for certifications to appear in the CEC Portal. Please note that certificates showing in My CEC Portal are CECs completed within the AAST account you are logged-in to.
Why is my learning module showing in my Started tab, not in my Completed tab?
Please make sure to stay on each slide for at least 5 seconds for the module to mark each page as viewed. You will need to play through each audio and video slide to entirety to receive credit. Note that you can always check which slides within a module haven’t registered as viewed by using the MENU icon found in the upper left hand corner of each module. By selecting MENU, you’ll be given an outline of each slide within the module. Each item needs to show a green check-mark or have a filled green circle in order for the module to be marked complete.
Why can't I view the streaming video within the online learning module I purchased?
If you experience any issues with viewing the module video, taking a post-test, or accessing the Learning Center, please contact AAST Headquarters so that a team member can assist you.
Can I take a practice exam more than once?
Yes. You may retake each practice exam as many times as would like. Practice Exams purchased in the AAST Learning Center do not expire.
How can I view the answers for questions included in my practice exam?
Correct answers are displayed for each question when you complete a practice exam. Each answer includes an explanation along with references.
Can I take a break from taking an exam and return later without losing my progress?
Yes. The AAST Learning Center saves your exam progress so you may return later..
Where can I purchase practice exams for the AAST Learning Center?
Practice exams are available for purchase within the AAST Learning Center.
Can I print or download my online workbooks?
No, but we sell hard copy workbooks which are available in the AAST Online Store.
