How do I view, download, or print a certificate?
Sign in to the CEC Platform at cec.aastweb.org and open My Transcript. Every completed program is listed with a Download certificate button — click it to save the PDF, then print from there if you’d like a paper copy.
How do I view more details about a specific program in the CEC Portal?
How do I download or print my transcript?
On My Transcript, click Download transcript and choose either a single year or all activity on record. A PDF downloads that you can save or print. You can also browse any previous year on screen using the year filter above your program list — past years remain available at all times.
Transcript downloads are an AAST member benefit. If your membership has lapsed you can still sign in, view your history, and download individual program certificates.
Why can't I change my demographic information in the CEC Portal?
Your name and email in the CEC Platform come from your AAST member profile and sync automatically each time you sign in. To update them, edit your AAST Member Profile — the change appears in the CEC Platform on your next sign-in.
How do I sign in to the CEC Platform?
Go to cec.aastweb.org and sign in with your AAST (MemberSuite) account — the same login you use for the AAST website. There is no separate CEC password. If you don’t have an AAST account yet, you can create one at aast.users.membersuite.com.
I'm not a current AAST member — can I still access my credits?
Yes. Sign in and you can view your full history and download the certificate for any individual program. Downloading a consolidated transcript (single year or all activity) is an active-member benefit — renew your membership to unlock it.
I've had more than one AAST account — can my credits be combined?
Yes. If credits were earned under a second account (an old email, a name change), contact the CEC team — or use the “Missing something?” button — and we can link your accounts. Your transcript will then show the combined history no matter which account you sign in with.
My organization wants to offer AAST CECs — how do we become a provider?
Education providers apply, pay, and manage CEC applications directly in the CEC Platform. Click “Become a CEC Provider” on the platform to register your organization, or contact info@aastweb.org with questions about provider requirements.

Where are my Inter-Scorer Reliability (ISR) CECs?
The Inter-Scorer Reliability (ISR) program is an AASM program, and no longer offers AAST CECs. For more information please contact the AASM.
How often will I receive my CEC Transcript from the AAST?
Your transcript is available any time. Sign in to the CEC Platform at cec.aastweb.org with your AAST account and open My Transcript — it always reflects the latest credits on record.
Why are some continuing education credits I earned not listed?
Credits are posted from attendance rosters that education providers submit through the CEC Platform. Providers are required to submit attendance within 45 days of a program’s end date, and credits appear on your transcript once the roster is processed. Note that transcript credits are recorded for current AAST members. Please keep your certificates for programs completed while your membership was inactive.
If a program still isn’t showing, click “Missing something?” on your transcript page and tell us which program you completed.
Why isn’t the educational program that I attended that offered CME, CRCE, or CEU credits not listed on my AAST CEC Transcript?
The AAST CEC Transcript only lists educational programs that were approved for AAST CECs. The AAST tracks credits from those educational providers who applied for AAST CECs in advance of the session/workshop date. A number of credit hours for each educational program is determined by the AAST. Educational providers are required to list the number of credit hours approved by the AAST in the program and submit the AAST CEC Student List of attendees.
Why isn't the program I attended (e.g., AAST Annual Meeting) listed?
This usually means the attendance roster couldn’t be matched to your AAST account — for example, you registered under a different name or email, or weren’t an AAST member at the time. Click “Missing something?” on your transcript page and tell us about the program; the CEC team will locate the record. If credits ended up under a second AAST account, we can link your accounts so everything appears on one combined transcript.
Why aren’t my new AAST CECs showing up on my ABSM account?
Starting July 1, 2017, AAST CECs are no longer linked to the ABSM accounts of AAST members. You will need to update continuing education credits manually to their website.
What happens to credits that are not on my AAST CEC Transcript? Do I lose them?
After attending an educational program approved for continuing education credit, you should have received a letter or certificate from the educational provider verifying your attendance and number of credits earned. These letters and certificates are accepted as proof of credits and can be submitted to the BRPT when you recertify. Programs must be approved for AAST CECs in order for them to be added to an AAST CEC Transcript. Programs not approved for AAST CECs may still be summited to the BRPT as long as they qualify for credit. Please contact the BRPT for more information on acceptable credits.
Can I turn in certificates of completion from other educational programs that I attended in the current year to receive AAST CECs?
The AAST only awards CECs to educational providers whose programs meet the AAST CEC standards and were approved by the association in advance of the session/workshop date. Credits earned through AAST CEC Program will count towards RPSGT recertification. The AAST is unable to process individual requests after the educational program is completed. Contact info@aastweb.org to check if a program was approved for AAST CECs.
What should I do with my certificates of completion that provide credit hours (CME, CEU, CRCE) approved by other organizations and are accepted towards my recertification requirements by BRPT?
Keep those certificates on file and submit them to BRPT along with your AAST Transcript when your recertification date is due.
